THE QUIRKY ETCHINGS OF OLEG DENISENKO



Oleg Denisenko is a Ukranian artist who creates quirky/bizarre etchings. They have cross between a Don Quixote and Leonardo Da Vinci air about them.   3. Absolutely beautiful, brilliant etchings - there is an air of fairyland about them and they are so detailed. I have never heard of him before and have never seen anything quite like them.

    The hours it would have taken this artist to scribe these plates with such precision...Oh my!!! Loads of dedication and passion here...Thanks for sharing.

  18. These are amazing. I received a book of Gustave Dore drawings for Christmas, and the intricate black and white work here reminds me a bit of him. Although Gustave was not very whimsical, I'm afraid.

  23. Fascinating! I'll have to copy this for my blog. I really enjoyed the "trip" thru South Africa by following your walk. What a beautiful place. Kinda reminds me of our Smoky Mountains here in North Carolina.
