STILLNESS FOR JUGGLERS

 Andrew Wyeth

POEM FOR SOMEONE WHO IS JUGGLING HER LIFE by Rose Cook

This is a poem for someone
who is juggling her life.
Be still sometimes.
Be still sometimes.

It needs repeating
over and over
to catch her attention
over and over
because someone juggling her life
finds it difficult to hear.

Be still sometimes.
Be still sometimes.
Let it all fall sometimes.

I found the poem at Shawna Lemay's blog, Calm Things. If you are needing a little quiet time, wander over and feel the calm enveloping you as you read each post.

  2. Robyn, Love the poem. Calm and still are my words for this year :-). I got a rejection letter from a gallery the other day that was very nice, they said they liked the stillness in my work. Made me think I am doing my job right even if they did not accept my work :-). Thank you for this reminder. xoxo

    1. Indeed, it was a lovely thing to say about your work, Annie. A rejection letter is disappointing but positive feedback makes it worthwhile.

  19. It makes you wonder who really puts so many demands on us. Is it ourselves or "others"?
