Oh how I wish I could see this exhibit. Your lady sculpture is gorgeous. Haven't seen your work in some time. I miss it.
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa, I have been so slack! My poor blog needs to find it's rhythm again. Thank you so much for visiting after all this time away from the bloggersphere.
DeleteI wish you and all your friends and family around the world could see your work up on this show Robyn - it looks great!
ReplyDeleteDebs, you have no idea how much I would love to be there in person. I know I would enjoy the buzz...... and the English country atmosphere. Thank you for inviting me to exhibit at your beautiful gallery.
Deletewhat a super show, I followed the links, I love the stones against the pale wood on Strandloper
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Linda. Exhibitions at Fillingdon are always a great success so I feel very lucky to be included again. I'm enjoying bringing the natural elements into my carvings.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the exhibition, Robyn - the work looks and sounds great. And Strandloper is absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharmon. I have a strong connection to my Strandloper series.
DeleteCongrats Robyn and much deserved, love your piece you show here, wonderful. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks Annie!
Deletea beautiful showcasing of your incredible work, vision, craft. congratulations, robyn. i know a lot of time, struggle and heart goes into birthing work -
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary Jane. Sometimes there is a struggle and sometimes everything flows so easily. Autumn/Winter is my best time. Summer is a long struggle! A life coach many of us know in the blog world, pointed out that each artist has a cycle and once we know what the cycle is we accept the slow times more easily.
DeleteI wish I could be there to see the show. Your work looks wonderful. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThank you Theresa!
DeleteBrilliant! Congratulations Robyn. I am loving the details on your new piece and so wish I could see this show in person.
ReplyDeleteThanks Seth! My photos have improved since I've had my ipad but it doesn't make up for seeing art in person.
DeleteYour new work is stunning! Congrats on the exhibit - wish I lived closer . . .
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Judy.

DeleteGreat to see you here. Strandloper indeed! Love her, too-- that sassy hip curving in makes wonderful "motion" in mind.
ReplyDeleteThanda.
Hi M! Thank you! Beach combing is all I can think about at the moment, so there will probably be a few more Strandlopers :-)
ReplyDeleteThanda xoxo

DeleteNice word "Strandloper". We also use the word "Strandjutter".
ReplyDeleteThank you for thr nice words.
We are so far and nevertheless how close, how familiar.
Yes Wim, many similarities. It helps me to understand your posts before translation.
DeleteLove much, wonderfull ,greeting from Mons in Belgium
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Louisette!
DeleteI miss your blog, with your thoughts, your feelings, your stories. But wanted to let you know i follow your Tumblr pages religously. If it was Facebook, I would be clicking "like", "like", "like", and also commenting, telling you what each image evoked, and why I liked it, etc. I just wanted to tell you I do love what you post, and it's pleasurable looking at what you see, following that thread of observation and wonder. Thanks so much for that special communication,so welcome and appreciated! Hope you are well! XX
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your support Mary Jo. You give me a lift every time you message me. I really intend to get back to blogging because I miss the connection with readers, artists and bloggers (and I miss delving into my own thoughts and following the thread in posts) but somehow I don't seem to have that kind of time anymore. Tumblr and Pinterest take less research and thought...... and I can fit it in to the lulls while drinking coffee or watching TV in the evenings with hubby. I'm busy with commissions at the moment but I need and want to get back into exploring new ideas which then lead to blogging. It's a different mind set if that makes sense! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThe strandloper is absolutely stunning! Your work looks wonderful! Congratulations! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteRobyn-CONGRATS!!!!! I so wish I were there to see your gorgeous work in person. Strandloper is stunning! xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Soraya!
DeleteI've missed your blog posts. I hope that all is right in your life.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dolores. All is well. I just seem to be so busy. I miss artpropelled but find Face Book is a quicker simpler way to blog. I have trouble with photos here for some reason. I'm on FB if you would like to keep up there.
