I have heard this about the stones being magical with the natural holes in them. I think only special people find them too. I really like the shells too. Really, I like all of these. Wow to find those combs would be a real treasure.
The brick molds, love those. The leaf of driftwood is really special. Robin, you have the touch. You find the best art on the internet. It's such a treat for the rest of us.
Each one I came to I thought was my favourite, so that when I got to the end of them I found it totally impossible to choose. If I had to choose one I would like to own it would have to be the ivory combs I think.
Hi Robyn, just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Where are you, dear friend? I'm going to send you inspiration in a bottle. When you open it, all these wonderful ideas (that you already have). will float up out of the bottle. They'll float around you while you try to chose just one. Start with one, but do them all. They're all fabulous so don't waste not one. I'll need a shipping address. An email would be perfect. pj at industryinet dot com. Now to gather that inspiration....
I hope you have a wonderful break Robyn. The quote here by Selchie Produtions is especially beautiful to me today. I am off the the coast to teach another workshop and I will look for beach stones with holes in them. Thank you for this, and always, for the art that you share... roxanne
How lovely! I came across your blog via Altered Bits, and was intrigued, being a South African myself (although, sadly, not living there at the moment. Thank you for some most inspiring images. Have a wonderful day! Blessings from the UK
