Sounds like a heavenly day ... looks like a heavenly day, with everyone in shorts or short pants. Congrats on the wood shavings. Getting something done is the best thing ever! Well, at least among the top ten.
I would love to browse through that shop with you-- and the farmers' market too-- and my dog would love the Dog Food Dude for sure-as I know he would jump through a hoop of fire for a single peanut.
Oh...the dogs are delightful and your favorite shop is so exotic to this beach dweller's eye... then there you are back at work with a good cuppa'...what a grand day!...thanks for sharing the beauty.
Oh - you make me long for the warmer weather and farmer's market HERE. Thanks for the glimpse. And of course, doggie cliques - wonderful - brings a smile to this face!
i was just talking last night with someone who was wondering what they could do with wood shavings...when i saw your photo i had to agree, they look so cool...what do you do with them dare i ask?
loved the trip to the market with you.......it'll be MONTHS before i can do that here!! well, not so many really. three? coffee in the indigo mug surrounded by wood havings, delish!
Wow! Dogs everywhere. We have a local farmer's market that sets up every summer and fall in our city center. It is close enough to walk, so we always take Edward and Apple. They love to go, especially as they receive lots of attention!
What a lovely day! Those little Scotties are so adorable... my dad used to have two - Bonnie and Dougal. They have such funny characters and seeing these made me smile.
Also, fab that you had a good spate of work afterwards... great way to round off the day. I'm told it's been a little cooler in your parts and so I hope you're loving that taste of Autumn in the air :) Happy new week to you!
Thanks for all the encouragement, re the wood shavings!
Lisa, no that isn't Ben in the photo. Ben is a giant in comparison.
Paula, woodshavings are great for digging into flower beds, especially around the roses.
Kendalee, it has been a little cooler especially at night. Loving the taste of Autumn air!
Stevie, it's been very quiet on the monkey front though there was a short skirmish yesterday. I think a young male from a neighbouring troop is trying to take over which is a good thing since it prevents inbreeding but I hate to think of "our" alpha male being hurt. He really is a fine looking specimen.
Mansuetude, its the Autumn sunlight that stabs one in the eye early in the mornings. Enjoy your sleep in!
Blogging is so wonderful, sitting in my living room, I'm beginning to know you and even go to the market with you :) I loved your last 2 pictures. What a privilege it would be to see you work in person.
Wood shavings - good to see!

Oh u up early. Love that sky photo. I have been sleeping in late like a sack of flour turned away from the sunrise. Which hits me in the eye and yet.
